Welcome to East Sidney Dam NY, Sidney New York

The East Sidney Dam is located on Ouleout Creek in Delaware County, N.Y. The dam is approximately four highway miles downstream from the village of Franklin and six miles upstream from Unadilla. Route 357 Town of Sidney, New York 13838. The recreation area is leased to the Town of Sidney, NY. Facilities include camping, picnic area, boat launch and beach.

2018 Season: Park Open 7 Days a week 8am - 8pm: Open through September 12th

East Sidney Dam

Authorization:  The project is a unit of the comprehensive flood control plan for the protection of communities in southern New York and eastern Pennsylvania authorized by the Flood Control Act of June 22, 1936, as amended by the Flood Control Act of June 28, 1938, and is described in House Document No. 702, 77th Congress, second session.

Cost:  The cost of the project was $6,049,504. Construction costs in constant dollars are estimated at $59,343,000.
